CSM. JOHNSON.Douglas Edward

Postby bluejob » Tue Feb 21, 2017 5:45 pm

Hello All,

My interest is Second World War Commandos.

The above mentioned 3594878.WO 11. Douglas Edward JOHNSON parent regiment was the BORDER Regiment ,and he was attached to No 5 Commando.

The CWGC show that he died 3-4-45,and is buried at the MOASCAR War Cemetery,Egypt, at this time 5 Commando were serving in the Far EAST.

Would anyone know if the Border Regiment were in the Middle East at this time,or was CSM JOHNSON in transit.

Many thanks

Graham
