Fellow Borderites!

Well I am back from my little juant to the Western Front, as ever I had a great time despite the SNOW and freezing weather!

Despite that I managed to visit the following and pay my respects to some Border boys and obtain some photos;
Wancourt (Covered in snow and the headstones need a 'sharpen up'
Adanac
Maroc
Sanctuary Wood
AIF Flers
Railway Dugouts
Flat Iron Copse
Ancre

I also got into the edge of Authuille Wood and after being rather startled by four deer I took a couple of photos of the assembly trenches that I think the Border's used on 1st July 1916 and I will post them later.

I plan to download them over the weekend (when my fingers finally thaw out!)
Best wishes,
Scottie.
