Whilst I am familiar with “theatres of war” served in, I am not familiar with “theatre honours” as such – the areas where the Regiment saw active service between 1881 and 1959 are:

Waziristan 1894-5
South Africa 1899-1902

WW1 as you have listed:
NW Frontier 1922-23
China 1927-29
NW Frontier 1930-31
Palestine 1937-39

WW2:
France, Belgium, Holland, Sicily, Italy, Syria, North Africa, India, Ceylon and Burma, Norway; Palestine 1947-48,
Somaliland/Somalia 1948-50
Canal Zone 1951-54

Yours sincerely

Stuart Eastwood, Curator.

I will update the forum home page when I get time to include the new battle honours that I am currently missing. Regarding the theatre honours, Stuart say he is unfamiliar with this term but I am sure this is what's printed in Wylly's book (mine's packed away at the moment so I can't check). I think "theatres of of war served in" sounds better anyway, so I will change that as well.
In memory of John Bardgett (15309 L/Cpl.), 11th Border Regiment who died 1st July 1916.
