"Short History..." Border Regiment 1905

From "Short Histories of the Territorial Regiments of the British Army" by R De M Rudolf 1905 (book long out of copyright)
As the regiment was only 25 years old when the book was written it would have been a “short history" if he hadn’t included the 34th & 55th!
Note in part 2 the reference to the Borders being in Burma, Waziristan, and Crete prior to the Boer War.
(Chris, perhaps this entry could be a candidate for a posting in the "Earliest Days 1881- " new section suggested by Bodger?)
