I managed to get my very first Border Regiment embossed letterhead crest (the one you mentioned on ebay) for the princely sum of £2.71 - looking forward to receiving that in the post. The 34th Cumberland Regiment of Foot one that was also going was out of my price range :-(
In memory of John Bardgett (15309 L/Cpl.), 11th Border Regiment who died 1st July 1916.
