Kendal WW1 exhibition

Postby plbramham » Mon Jul 28, 2014 7:52 pm

Hi,
Just to let you know that the Kendal WW1 centenary exhibition I have involved with is now open in Kendal Town Hall, open 9am to 5pm, daily (Not Sundays) for two weeks. It will then move to Kendal museum for approximately a month , and after that on loan to any local organisation, school, groups etc. who wish to use it.
( Obviously I did not take these photos, but there are no copyright issue).
Pictures show 1) a section of the display, 2) Kendal Town Mayor Tom Clare at the opening, 3) Myself ( centre) showing visitors around the displays. ( Please excuse my scars!)
Best Wishes Paul

Wish I could be there to see the exhibition Paul. Did you write the information on the boards?
In memory of John Bardgett (15309 L/Cpl.), 11th Border Regiment who died 1st July 1916.
