Just a few pix from my Somme centenary trip ( and Ypres).
All photos taken on a Nikon compact camera I bought from e bay for £30 - you don't need to have "posh" camera stuff! if you know what you are doing!
Cheers Paul

I saw the Australian film 'Beneath Hill 60' about three or four years ago and thought it was pretty good. I didn't know anything about the tunnelling company involved in mining underneath Hill 60 but it was certainly interesting. The film is worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
In memory of John Bardgett (15309 L/Cpl.), 11th Border Regiment who died 1st July 1916.

Yep, I've seen that film too. Pretty good. I think you can get it as a DVD ( go for "used") from Amazon quite cheaply,
