Just a few pix from my Somme centenary trip ( and Ypres).
All photos taken on a Nikon compact camera I bought from e bay for £30 - you don't need to have "posh" camera stuff! if you know what you are doing!

Not a bad little camera! Photos have come out nicely, certainly better to have a clear, sunny day and, of course, the well-kept grass and beautiful flowers.
In memory of John Bardgett (15309 L/Cpl.), 11th Border Regiment who died 1st July 1916.
