For something that has been around for 70 years and still look in pretty good condition, £1 is a bargain; I'm really surprised they don't cost more. Are there any others? I like the mini-history card.
In memory of John Bardgett (15309 L/Cpl.), 11th Border Regiment who died 1st July 1916.

UNIFORMS OF THE TERRITORIAL ARMY
by John Player & Sons

During the 1930s several cigarette manufacturers issued cards with adhesive backs. An album for this set of 50 cards could be bought from the tobacconist for three pence.

The information on the reverse of the adhesive card.

In the albums each card had its own space, and the same information as was on the back of the card was printed alongside each space. This set was issued in 1939 and today each card is catalogued at 90 pence.

Another BDV silk from a different series. Note Kings Crown and South Africa honours on crest which dates it as Edwardian or later.
