RUDDICK, JOSEPH HENRY, Company Serjeant Major, 1st Btn. 7990,1st Btn. 29/10/ 1915. Son of William & Margaret Ruddick of Mount Pleasant, Tebay. Three Ruddick brothers served in the war. Joseph had been promoted to WO2 just before his death. Commemorated on memorial window St James’ church, Tebay
