What a great collection of photos. I always appreciate seeing the territorials, which on many occasions gets overshadowed by the regulars and even service battalions.
In memory of John Bardgett (15309 L/Cpl.), 11th Border Regiment who died 1st July 1916.

I was sitting in front of the 2/4th memorial plaque in Kendal parish church at the Remembrance Sunday service.
Any Border Regt enthusiasts - visit Kendal parish church and the regimental chapel at the bottom left.
Incidentally at the service a "rescued" plaque from a church which has now been converted into flats, was re dedicated after restoration in the chapel,
Regards Paul
