BBC Programme on iPLayer - "The Man Who Shot the Great War"

There have been televised and radio broadcast documentaries about people and places relating to the Regiment; if you have seen any please mention them here.

BBC Programme on iPLayer - "The Man Who Shot the Great War"

I'm not sure if it is appropriate to post this here but I think it is too good a programme to miss. It is not about the Border Regiment but, rather, a First World War soldier (and photographer) from Ulster named George Hackney.

It is currently available via BBC iPlayer here:

I would very much recommend watching it.

I'm mentioning it here because (I believe) it was only shown in Northern Ireland.

Sounds interesting, thanks for pointing it out. I haven't heard of this but then I never really know what is broadcast as I don't seem to get round to watching much tv.

I will move this to the TV and Radio forum. Anything media related can be posted in one of the Media and Information forums.
In memory of John Bardgett (15309 L/Cpl.), 11th Border Regiment who died 1st July 1916.
