Distinguished Conduct in the Field

The War Office has issued a very long list of warrant officers, non-commissioned officers, and men who have been awarded silver medals for "Distinguished Conduct in the Field." The list includes the following men belonging to the Border Regiment:Colour Sergeants: F. LAMBETHF. W. MITCHELL, E. O.B. WHITE and Privates: J. CUSKEARN, C. B. Jack T. WATSON.
