Born 1892. Age 25. Son of Mrs. and the late Mr. Snaith, of
3, Dockray Hall Cottages, Kendal;
husband of Nellie Snaith, of Mill Fold, Crook, nr. Kendal,
Westmorland. Mother Mary ran a bakery and sweetshop at their home.
Sisters Ann and Violet. Plumber/painter apprentice (1911).

Following the success of "The Kendal Pals" WW1 centenary play , which I researched and helped to write, ( the Kendal Mayor described it as "stunning"), I have been approached by a director who would like to adapt it and has been offered to do so for a Channel 4 TV film. Don't hold your breath, it may come to nothing, but an interesting idea eh?
